A new LoL esports record for Chovy

Gen.G is the tournament favorite after dominating the first several games in the 2023 League of Legends World Championship. During this run, many people's attention has been focused on one player in particular - Chovy. The 22-year-old phenomenon has defeated previous legendary Worlds participants including T1's Faker, JD Gaming's Ruler, and LNG Esports' Scout to become the first player in Worlds history to qualify for five consecutive playoffs. In a remarkable demonstration of his durability and consistency, Chovy has broken yet another record to leave his mark on the history of the League.

Chovy has the third-most kills of any mid-laner in the main event at Worlds 2023, despite having played almost half the games of any player at the top of the rankings. But in order for Gen.G to defeat Bilibili Gaming on Friday, Nov. 3, and begin the playoffs with a win, he will have to maintain his vice-like hold on the mid-lane.
