The release of the highly anticipated League of Legends World Championship skin set, inspired by T1’s victory in Korea last year, is just a week away, marking Faker’s seventh skin. At 28, the legendary mid-laner now has more skins honoring him than nearly a quarter of champions in the game, a fact that has not gone unnoticed in the community. One Redditor pointed out that 41 champions have fewer full cosmetics than Faker, whose “collection” includes the upcoming T1 Orianna skin, as well as his three iconic Ahri and LeBlanc skins, along with older skins for Ryze, Syndra, and Zed, each representing a Summoner’s Cup he has won.
Interestingly, some champions with over 7.5 percent pick rates, like Viego and Kayn, have fewer skins than Faker. Adding to the irony is Faker's preference for not using cosmetics in-game, including his $400 Immortalized Ahri skin celebrating his Hall of Legends induction.
