Paying tribute to the veteran's past

To the astonishment and joy of European fans worldwide, T1 Academy honoured the 27-year-old's previous roster Fnatic by displaying the team's insignia at the conclusion of a match in the League team's inaugural series with former LEC hero Rekkles. After Rekkles transitioned from his bench role for Fnatic to a support role for the next season, T1 signed him at the end of 2023. Rekkles was not anticipated to leave Europe, thus it was a shocking choice for all sides, especially considering that Korea is plenty with elite possibilities to consider.

Rekkles' remarkable win percentage throughout his tenure in Korea has allowed him to advance to Challenger status in his current position. He has amassed a 66 percent victory record over 150 games, including impressive results on Janna, Senna, and Bard. It is encouraging for a player making his professional debut in a new area.
