The GOAT continues his reign against his foes on the Summoner's Rift

Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok is regarded as one of the most iconic players in esports history, posing one of the most difficult tasks to any team that faces him in professional League of Legends. In fact, one LCK organisation hasn't won a single game against him in the previous two years. Since their debut in the LCK as DAMWON Gaming in 2019, Dplus KIA has been one of the top teams in Korea. Despite their youth, they boast some of the top players on the planet on their roster, including jungler Kim "Canyon" Geon-bu, mid laner Heo "ShowMaker" Su, and AD carry sensation Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu.

However, the organisation hasn't beaten Faker and T1 since they met in the 2021 World Championship in Iceland, when DK defeated T1 in four games during the tournament quarterfinals. T1 has now beaten DK in every series they've competed in—but only when Faker is on stage with them.
