Andre Drummond shakes hand with rival Joel Embiid as he joins the Sixers

Andre Drummond and Joel Embiid are two of the most versatile players and have been rivals for a long time. Drummond and Embiid have had some on-field battles because of which the fans are quite excited about how the team will manage both the legends in one team. Their beef peaked in 2018 when Embiid expelled Drummond out of the court when he fell down after his arm flew near Embiid’s head. Joel got up and asked the referee to get him out of the court.

Drummond has his numbers up high while his time with the LA Lakers. He played 21 season games for Lakers and averaged 11.9 points and 10.2 rebounds. The 6” 10’ player is an excellent defender and he can help Sixers have a strong defensive side. He does lack some outside shooting which the Sixers needed at the moment.
