Chicago Bulls returned to action at home on Saturday against a significantly wounded Memphis Grizzlies club. Memphis began the day with a 15-26 record, five games behind the Western Conference play-in seeds. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, the Bulls showed no sympathy for their injury report. With a long list of Grizzlies on the bench, Jaren Jackson Jr. emerged as the team's primary offensive playmaker, scoring 26 points, grabbing six rebounds, assisting five times, and stealing one.
After withstanding the Grizzlies' early second-half rally, the Bulls never gave up the advantage after the 8:19 mark in the third. The rest of the game was a series of punches of Bulls defensive stops and furious dunks, the most notable of which was Coby White's slam. The Bulls cruised to a 125-96 victory.
