Cleveland Cavaliers took down RJ Barrett and New York Knicks in the low-scoring match with mere two points, 95-93. Cavs saw off the bench contribution from Kevin Love for 20 points and boosted the Cavaliers’ chances of winning the match while Darius Garland contributed 12 assists as well as an important late 3-pointer. Cavs are 29-19 in the season currently which is a great upgrade from last season’s 22 wins, for the last 10 matches they have been over .500 for the first time since 2018. Knocking out Knicks in the match is an important win for the side.
Cavs held on to their minuscule lead after Knicks fought back from 15 points deficit but their last three-point attempt with Julius Randle's 38-footer fell short and Cavs held onto the win which would be a good motivating factor as they host fending champion Milwaukee Bucks next.
