Chicago Bulls overhaul front office

The Chicago Bulls have initiated a major leadership reset, firing executive vice president Artūras Karnišovas and general manager Marc Eversley following a fourth consecutive season without a playoff berth. President and CEO Michael Reinsdorf called the move difficult but unavoidable, noting that while both executives worked diligently, the franchise failed to deliver the level of success its supporters expect.

Karnišovas and Eversley, appointed in 2020, leave with a combined 224–254 record and just one playoff appearance, a 2022 first‑round exit to Milwaukee. The subsequent three seasons yielded only play‑in opportunities, all ending in defeat. Reinsdorf addressed fans directly, acknowledging their frustration and committing to a long‑term rebuild aimed at restoring Chicago’s competitive stature. He framed the shake‑up as a necessary first step toward constructing a roster capable of contending for championships.
