The Dallas Mavericks finished Grizzlies' five-game dominating streak on Dec. 8 and on Friday, repeated the experience with a 112-85 triumph at FedExForum to end their 11 matches winning streak. Memphis’ franchise record of 11-game winning streak fell to Mavericks who restricted the Grizzlies (30-15) to just 30 points in the second half of the match. Grizzlies shot only 8-for-22 in the period while the Mavericks (23-19) were 13-for-22.
To make matters worse Ja Morant submitted eight turnovers, the most since he had a season-high nine against the Trail Blazers on Oct. 27, Morant still had a game-high 19 points with eight assists, and was restricted to four points in the second half. As for Doncic, he scored 18 of his 27 points in the final part to give Mavs a win.
