The Memphis Grizzlies destroyed the Indiana Pacers 130–111 to maintain their perfect winning record and boost their current unbeaten run in the NBA to nine games.
Ja Morant headed the Grizzlies with 23 points and 10 assists, and Desmond Bane chipped in 25 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Santi Aldama and Ziaire Williams each scored 17 and 13 points respectively. In a losing effort, Chris Duarte scored 25 points for the Pacers.
For the second time this season, the Pacers have now dropped three straight games, and they will further move to play a difficult team. When they faced Golden State without Haliburton in that situation, the Pacers came through. They will have to do the same thing on Monday when they play the Milwaukee Bucks for the first time this season.
