Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a career-high 54 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Utah Jazz 123-114 on Wednesday night. Gilgeous-Alexander shot 17 of 35 from the field and an impressive 17 of 18 from the free-throw line, surpassing his previous best of 45 points. He added eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals to his stellar performance.

Jalen Williams contributed 25 points as the Thunder improved to 36-7, tying Cleveland for the NBA’s best record. Despite their struggles, Utah (10-32) showed resilience, with John Collins posting 22 points and 12 rebounds, Collin Sexton adding 18 points and nine assists, and Walker Kessler recording 17 points and 15 rebounds. Gilgeous-Alexander scored 23 first-half points to give Oklahoma City a narrow 57-55 halftime lead. His 18 third-quarter points helped the Thunder extend the lead to 95-89. Late in the fourth, a key 3-pointer sealed his career night and the Thunder’s victory.
