Phoenix continues to reshape its roster

The worst of the three first-round picks in 2026 will go to Phoenix, followed by Orlando and Washington. A second-round pick from the Denver Nuggets in 2024, the least desirable pick from the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, or Orlando in 2026, and a second-round pick from the Boston Celtics in 2028, if it falls between the Nos. 46 and 60 picks, are all going to Phoenix.

The Suns have had a very active off-season as a result of the deals this morning. The NBA offseason was ignited by the blockbuster Beal deal on June 26, and the team persisted in trying to restructure its squad around a very pricey nucleus. Eight players have been added to Phoenix's 2023 free agent class: guards Damion Lee and Josh Okogie, who the Suns re-signed, veteran point guard Eric Gordon, bench big Drew Eubanks, centre Yuta Watanabe, 3-and-D forward Keita Bates-Diop, another bench big in Chimezie Metu and forward Bol.
