The Golden Warriors secured a 112-87 win against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals series opener. It was three days after Luka Doncic had crushed the Phoenix Suns with his amazing performance, the start found the battle against the Golden State Warriors tough. It was a slow start for the Warriors but they pulled clear in the second half with a 54-45 lead at halftime at the San Francisco’s Chase Center.
Doncic seemed to have a sore shoulder while the Warriors outscored the Mavericks in the third quarter leading with 19 points making it to the final period of the game. With an amazing start of 8-0 in the fourth quarter, the Warriors were cruising 27 points clear to make this game out of reach for the rivals.
