The Warriors are reportedly targeting Celtics guard Derrick White

Derrick White of the Boston Celtics is allegedly being pursued by the Golden State Warriors in an attempt to strengthen their backcourt in addition to Stephen Curry and maybe Jimmy Butler. White is a desirable match because of his playmaking skills, defensive brilliance, and seasoned leadership. The injury to Jayson Tatum and financial factors will determine if Boston is willing to move White; possible trade possibilities include Jonathan Kuminga or Andrew Wiggins.

Boston's offseason moves hinge on Jayson Tatum's Achilles injury and their financial constraints. White's $118 million guaranteed contract (with $7.9M in incentives) may force the Celtics to consider deals. Zach Lowe expressed reservations about trading White: "Yeah, I talked about that in the previous segment about ton t's game and how depressing trading Derrick White would be for Boston."
