Warriors beat the Jazz 123-116

In the regular-season finale against the Utah Jazz, Klay Thompson showcased his scoring prowess, setting two franchise records for the Golden State Warriors despite their 123-116 victory not being enough to improve from 10th place in the Western Conference. With the Warriors needing assistance from other teams to avoid the final play-in position, they were left in that spot as the Los Angeles Lakers secured the No. 8 seed and the Sacramento Kings claimed the No. 9 spot.

Thompson's stellar performance saw him score 25 points in just 20 minutes of play, during which he made 6 out of 12 attempts from beyond the arc. This not only propelled him to a game-high point total but also helped him set franchise records. He surpassed World B. Free's record for season scoring against Utah, amassing 118 points over four games, and also broke his own record for most 3-pointers in a season against the Jazz, finishing with 22.
