The Abu Dhabi T10 has entered a new phase with Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub announcing the launch of its Global Invitation‑to‑Bid for team and franchise ownership. The process, which closes on July 16, is a key step in the league’s revamped governance structure, supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Emirates Cricket Board. The bidding will determine the new franchises set to compete in the 2026 edition.
To guarantee transparency, Deloitte has been appointed as the independent advisor overseeing qualification and evaluating submissions. Organisers emphasised that prospective owners will be judged on far more than financial strength, with criteria including governance, integrity, reputation, operational capability and long‑term commitment to the tournament’s development.
CEO Matt Boucher described the ITB as a milestone in shaping the next era of the Abu Dhabi T10, stressing the search for strategic partners who share the ambition to build a well‑governed, innovative global cricket property.
