The European T20 Premier League has officially opened Player Draft Registration, marking a major step toward the launch of its inaugural season later this year. Registration is available to male cricketers affiliated with Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland or the Royal Dutch Cricket Association, allowing eligible players to submit their names through the league’s official website.
Franchises will use the draft to build their domestic player cores ahead of the competition’s debut. Scheduled from August 26 to September 20, 2026, the ETPL will feature six city-based teams representing Glasgow, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast and Rotterdam. The tournament will include 32 matches and aims to establish a sustainable, cross-border T20 structure across Europe. With draft registration now underway, the league moves closer to assembling its first rosters and delivering a new chapter for European cricket.
