2022 roster has a higher peak than last year; says Jankos

G2 esports were away from the European League of Legends for a year but got back on their track after an impromptu vacation back in 2021. Also, they managed to secure its record-setting ninth LEC championship at the start of this month. There weren’t any high hopes from G2 since they lost several stars during the offseason. Rekkles was supposed to be the X-factor veteran who would push them to do better while Wunder and Mikyx were considered to be a vital part of the team. 

The team didn’t manage to win a trophy in 2021 but they rebuilt with new players on their side. Jankos said that he had natural energy with his mates which made him take up the older brother role within the clan. He is glad that everyone is comfortable with each other and does not have to be forced to be friends.
