A golden needle in a disappointing haystack

Despite T1 Academy's lackluster performance in the 2024 Spring Split, veteran support and League of Legends star Rekkles continues to shine individually. The 27-year-old, since joining the legendary organization, maintains a top-performing status in the support role. Unfortunately, T1.A finds itself just above Gen.G Global Academy, having won only one series all season. With a disappointing 5-10 record, T1's Academy sits second to last, missing the playoffs despite generating significant viewership. 

Rekkles, however, leads all LCK CL supports with impressive stats: 56 kills in 39 games, a 5.6 KDA, 12.7 percent total team kill share, and an 80.5 percent kill participation rate. Despite a language barrier with AD carry Smash, the duo shows promise in the early stages and skirmishes, offering a silver lining amid the team's struggles.
