After the 2024 Summer Split, one LEC pro had no kills

The 2024 LEC Summer Split regular season has swiftly concluded, setting the stage for playoffs among European League of Legends teams. Notably, Karmine Corp's starting support, Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé, made an unconventional mark by ending the split without securing a single kill, amassing 68 assists and 24 deaths according to Oracle’s Elixir. While typical for supports to focus on setting up plays rather than securing kills, Targamas's clean slate across the split stands out in a league where even the lowest-ranked in kills among supports managed at least one. For instance, Fnatic’s Yoon “Jun” Se-jun tallied just two kills alongside 82 assists and 21 deaths, reflecting a similar supportive playstyle with champions like Alistar, Nautilus, Rakan, and Rell.

Karmine Corp faced inconsistency throughout the split, finishing with a 4-5 record and losses to formidable teams like SK Gaming, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Team BDS, and lower-seeded Team Heretics.
