Bjergsen outperforms Aphromoo to reach yet another LCS milestone

One of the finest professional League of Legends players in North American history has added another honor to his stellar career spanning over a decade. After today's game versus Dignitas, Sren "Bjergsen" Bjerg, current mid laner for 100 Thieves and multi-time LCS champion across several teams, has overtaken Zaqueri "Aphromoo" Black for the most LCS games played all-time with 598. Aphromoo had just broken Jason "WildTurtle" Tran's record during last year's Summer Playoffs when he announced his retirement from professional gaming.

This is simply one of many triumphs for Bjergsen throughout his stint in the LCS. Bjergsen leads NA in MVP titles, victories, and kills, and he also has six LCS crowns. He's also established himself as one of the game's top Zilean players, with teams frequently removing the obscure champion from his armory when feasible. The next three games of the split will pit 100 Thieves against TSM, Evil Geniuses, and Immortals, determining if Bjergsen will be able to compete for another career championship—something he hasn't held in years.
