The 2022 World Championship main stage group that LCS runners-up 100 Thieves were placed in makes "Closer" pleased, but the Turkish jungler is already fretting about one major dread that comes with the easy route at League's grandest voyage. This worry is that 100 Thieves may drop to last in "easy" Group D.
The team's Turkish star told Travis Gafford that there were few parties in the 100 Thieves camp after North America's second seed avoided daunting matchups like Group B and Group A, where LCS champions C9 would play T1 and EDG. Closer, though, began to consider what would happen to 100 Thieves and the LCS if they somehow failed to put on a good performance nearly as soon as the grins vanished. Before the World Championship officially kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 29, in Mexico City, Closer and 100 Thieves have already started their League grind.
