CLG hands EG their first loss in LCS Summer Split

No one expected Counter Logic Gaming to overpower Evil Geniuses in their recent match in LCS Summer Split 2022 but the reigning LCS champions were dealt with a heavy blow by the first-ranked CLG. Bruising their egos in a 42-minute marathon, Counter Logic Gaming handed the side their first loss after the season kickstarted with the Summer Split.

The two teams shared 37 kills amongst themselves which makes it one of the longest and bloodiest contests of summer. CLG’s share in the kills was 21 with Contractz pushing the team ahead by racking up 15 kills of his own. He managed to finish the series with a 7/4/8 scoreline. CLG survived the battle of the top two teams in LCS and occupies the first place now with 13 more games left on the schedule.
