Cloud9 earned a well-deserved five-game victory that has promoted them into the next round. Over there, they’ll grapple for a spot in the fourth round of the postseason. It has been a greatly unexpected string of events for CLG over the course of the 2022 Summer Split. They have already spent the past five seasons as a bottom three team in the league. Meanwhile, Cloud9's performance is being regarded as way too inconsistent to even make the top three. Instead, they dropped to fifth place with a 10-8 record in Summer.

This five-game series was an enthralling tug-of-war between two squads who have nearly the same set of capabilities.
