CoreJJ steps down from Liquids roster, Eyla to replace him

Liquid would be without their core starting lineup that involved CoreJJ in the 2022 LCS Spring Split. Their superstar support CoreJJ made his debut just a week before and is taking some time off from the game. The 27-year-old has some personal matters to attend to which curtails him from taking the stage for the coming week, the organization has announced Academy support Eyla to take his place in the main roster for the upcoming superweek.

Head coach André Guilhoto is confident that despite the shakeup Liquid along with Eyla will be able to secure three wins by this weekend, as they take on Golden Guardians, Dignitas, and TSM. Eyla took part with the main roster in the LCS Lock-In tournament as well while CoreJJ’s visa was not approved. Eyla returns to the Summoner’s Rift and will face Golden Guardians on Feb. 25.
