Elias “Upset” Lipp is reportedly coming back for Team Vitality

Since the beginning of the year, the 23-year-old has been sitting on Fnatic's bench as a result of the company's decision to reinstate longtime veteran Martin "Rekkles" Larsson. Upset will join one of the strongest lineups in the LEC if this roster change is confirmed. With a dominant 7-2 record and first-place finish in the regular season this past split, Vitality was a heavy favourite to win the title. Later on, though, the team struggled to maintain its momentum in the Winter Split group stage, eventually dropping four straight matches against KOI and SK Gaming.

Most experts and fans were surprised by Vitality's early elimination, but this potential roster change may be just what the team needs to make a run at the LEC title. Upset was one of the top marksmen in his class even during his final season with Fnatic.
