Elyoya will continue playing for LEC team MAD Lions for 2023

According to a rumour on Jaxon.gg, the Spanish jungler Javier "Elyoya" Prades Batalla will continue to play for LEC team MAD Lions in 2023. Elyoya will play for MAD until the conclusion of his contract, which expires next year, despite strong interest from other European teams like Fnatic and G2 Esports and offers from outside Europe.

According to sources close to Jaxon, the organization considered selling Elyoya to another team, and the deadline for negotiations was Nov. 5 at the latest. Although Fnatic expressed interest in buying Elyoya, no agreement could be reached. G2 planned to use Elyoya as their primary jungler, but the two companies were unable to come to terms, and the transaction was abandoned. The MAD Lions will no longer consider offers for the jungler as the deadline has passed, therefore they plan to keep Elyoya on their LEC roster for the next 2023 season.
