Evil Geniuses officially parted ways with four players

One of the most talked-about teams in the league ever since returning to the North American League of Legends scene in 2020 is Evil Geniuses. However, following a lacklustre 2023 Spring Split, the organization made the decision to disband the team and start over, dumping the top laner Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho, AD carry Victor "FBI" Huang, jungler Kacper "Inspired" Soma, and support Philippe "Vulcan" Laflamme, who was a fan favorite.

Mid lane ace Joseph "jojopyun" Pyun, who will compete in his fourth LCS season this summer, is the lone player still on the lineup. A full reset for the organization's League division was achieved three days earlier when the club also fired head coach Ale "Freeze" Knnek and assistant coach Albert "H4xDefender" Ong. Now Jojopyun will serve as the focal point of the forthcoming lineup since they now have to start from scratch.
