Excel adds former G2 support Mikyx to the roster

After spending three years with G2, Mikyx is ready to leave the team and play for Excel Esports in 2022. The official move is pending approval by Riot Games but Excel has revealed the signing and stayed Mikyx will take the place of Advienne and reunite with Sng “Nelson” Yi Wei, in the squad.

The 23-year-old joined the team in 2018 and before then competed in Worlds 2016 with Splyce but he found his success under the G2 banner when the team won the MSI title and made it all the way to the finals of Worlds 2019 but 2021 brought nothing but disappointment to the team and Mikyx stayed part of the squad but was benched. With Excel, he is set to get more playing time and is set to face MAD Lions, Rogue, and Fnatic in the coming weeks.
