Excel extends Patrik’s contract for two years

Excel Esports has not had a successful season in years but still, the trust in the player continues for 2022. The organization extended AD carry Patrik’s contract for two more years. The 21-year-old joined Excel in 2019 after his tumultuous stint with Origen. Next year the team started off by securing the 2020 Neosurf Cup, but the momentum did not carry off to Spring or the Summer Splits, they were seventh in both the season and missed out on the playoffs.

This season they sported 7-11 records and skid down to eighth finish in spring later improved to seventh in summer. Patrik was the stable feature in the roster with multiple junglers and mid laners sitting in and then being kicked out. The rest of the roster as of now remains unclear though the organization would most likely re-sign Youngbuck as head coach.
