FPX assembles 2022 League lineup around Lwx

FunPlus Phoenix completed their League of Legends lineup today, following a dismal group-stage elimination at Worlds 2021. Only Lwx from the initial lineup has remained with the Chinese LPL club. Ping "xiaolaohu" Xiao-Hu, Yang "Beichuan" Ling, Kim "Gori" Tae-woo, AD carry Luo "jiang" Bai-Jiang, support Fu "Hang" Ming-Hang, and another support Dang "Lele" Bo-Lin are among the newcomers. 

Regardless of finishing second in the LPL Spring and Summer Splits this year, their Worlds 2021 campaign was not as successful, as they were ousted in the group stage despite being the favorites. With the exception of Nuguri and Lwx, all former FPX players have found new homes. FunPlus Phoenix has a history of promoting players from the academy to the main squad, but the youthful team will have a lot of shoes to fill if they wish to match FPX's success in 2019.
