FPX Beat OMG as Crisp Returns to His Game in the LPL Summer Split 2021

The MVP votes for the series went to FPX, Doinb, and Lwx's carry. With a ridiculous Sylas performance, FPX's mid laner dominated the first match. Doinb swept over his opponents with back-to-back triple kills in the middle game, completing the match deathless with a KDA of 9/0/6. After selecting Vayne in the second game, Lwx won his MVP vote by moving quickly in teamfights and dishing massive amounts of damage before finishing with a KDA of 10/0/9.

The ability and techniques of the FPX and OMG players were clearly different in both matches in today's League of Legends series. FPX aimed for a number of early-game moves to build a lead and snowball the match, whereas OMG played reactively and attempted to adjust to the conditions in front of them. With minimal margin for error, FPX rounded out today's match with two fast 20-minute victories and a strong start to their upcoming set. On Friday, July 23, FPX (9-3) will face Suning (7-5) at 6 a.m. CT in a match on the Rift. The 2020 Worlds finals have looked good, but if FPX continues to play like they have, they shouldn't provide too much of a problem for the 2019 global winners.
