G2 Esports closed the second-fastest LEC game

Due to their propensity to excel in League of Legends contests and their capacity to break records—which they almost accomplished five weeks into the season—this G2 lineup has been frequently likened to the one the frequently champion club featured in the 2019 League season. In game three of the 2019 LEC Spring Playoffs Finals, versus Origen, the legendary lineup of Wunder,Jankos, Caps, Perkz, and Mikyx established the record.

The game finished after only 18 minutes and 31 seconds. Four years later, Team Heretics was defeated by G2 in a lopsided match that lasted only 18 minutes and 45 seconds from start to finish. G2 sought to break the record but came up only 14 seconds short. The winning side was so far ahead in the game in terms of kills, golds, and objectives that they proved unbeatable in this second-fastest game ever, which pitted G2 against their former jungler Jankos.
