G2 Esports have already lost five matches in a row during the Mid-Season Invitational rumble stage but will advance to the knockout stage of the event with a victory. The team overcame their losing streak but beats Evil Geniuses. G2 swept over EG in the 35 minutes after the hard-fought game, and with a record of 5-5, they are off to the rumble stage.

Evil Geniuses were leading early on with help from jungler Inspired, but the series culminated with late-game team fights and G2 put the game out of reach for EG with AD carry Flakked’s focused efforts to end the match with a quadra kill, and in the end, enjoyed a scoreline of 6/0/2.
