G2 reign uncontested over Riot Games’ titles in EMEA

In the Riot Games esports tournament grand finals on July 30, G2 had a perfect record. The Samurais won both the VALORANT Game Changers EMEA Series 2 and the League of Legends EMEA Championship Summer Split.  At 12 p.m. CT, both best-of-five series began, with the League team taking against EXCEL and the VALORANT Gozen team taking on FUT Female. The Gozen squad struggled to finish off a good start on Fracture, but they managed to win in overtime thanks to a big victory by G2 against their opponents.

During their encounter against the most recent squad to challenge them for the title, the League team on the other side of Berlin nearly appeared unbeatable. The five League players shut down their opponents who were chasing them for a kill while repeatedly getting out of perilous circumstances with less than 50 HP remaining on their health bars.
