Gen.G signs with top laner Noh “Burdol” Tae-yoon, who would join their League of Legends roster after putting in time at T1 Academy. Burdol joined T1 in May of 2019 and gained traction with his impressive performance in solo queue as well as finished rank one on the Korean ladder in July. He was a promising young player on the Korean side and was sought after highly until he landed his next gig with Gen.G in 2021.
The 17-year-old is being compared with T1 top laner Canna and has a lot to offer to Gen.G who stuck with the same squad as last year that helped them reach World Championship quarterfinals with the only change as Burdol, Sung “Flawless” Yeon-jun, and Kim “Karis” Hong-jo join in as Substitutes. We will see Gen.G in action soon when LCK Spring Split takes off on 13th January.
