Gen.G’s Chovy will carry Korean first seed hope

Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon is a four-time Worlds attendee and zero-time Worlds winner. What’s so exciting about that last part, though? The fact that every time his now-21-year-old participates in the championship, it seems like he still has a realistic chance at emerging victorious based on his pure merit and raw talent only. 2022 could be the best opportunity of all for him to do all of that.

Gen.G is Chovy’s fourth squad. After showcasing his shining capabilities in the international setup with Griffin in 2019, Chovy finally found his belonging in Gen.G.

“In the past, myself and my teammates didn’t have enough experience,” Chovy recently commented. “Gen.G has a lot of experience and everyone is really talented. As long as we can fix the issues we’re facing right now, we’ll be able to get a great outcome.”
