Hanwha Life failed to secure fourth place

With a crazy competition up their sleeves, the Korean superteam selected Samira and Jarvan IV for Park "Viper" Do-hyeon and Park "Life" Jeong-min, respectively. Despite using this bot lane pair to win the second game, Hanwha lost the series.

After a resounding victory in the first game, KT Rolster confidently approached the second match. They were taken aback by Samira and Jarvan IV's selections, but Hanwha Life had little effect throughout the laning phase. Instead, the top half of the map—particularly the top lane—saw much of the action. With an early snowball, KT really had the advantage for the duration of the match, but Hanwha Life was able to stave it off long enough to reverse the tide with a teamfight that decided the match, allowing them to rush the Nexus for the victory.
