Reykjavík’s Laugardalshöll Indoor Sporting Arena is being prepared to host the 22 teams taking part in the 2021 League of Legends World Championship. The three-stage event would kick off in October and conclude on 6th November. First, the International tournament would kickoff with playin stage with 10 teams RED Canids, DetonatioN FocusME, PEACE, Unicorns of Love, Infinity Esports, Galatasaray Esports, Beyond Gaming, Cloud9, LNG Esports and Hanwha Life Esports divided into two groups. The single round-robin stage would help decide who qualifies for the next round.
In the Group stage, 16 teams would participate, with the winners of playin stage joining the top three teams of LCK, LPL, and LEC and top two of LCS. The teams would then move on to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals to take the 2021 crown.
