IG took down Suning by 2-1 in 2021 LPL Spring Split

Invictus Gaming pulled off a reverse sweep in their opening match beating Suning by 2-1 without TheShy. The substitute top laner did well after TheShy's departure to China got delayed. IG forced a comeback after Suning won the first match of the series but later could not hold off against the former world champions.  Top laner Zhao “neny” Zhi-Hao and mid laner Rookie earned the two MVP votes.

The 17-year old academy top laner did well against Bin, IG adjusted their draft in the second game, and Rookie dominated with Galio to lead Invictus Gaming to a win in the second game. IG came back stronger in the third game with a better draft and took control of the map despite the 1,000 gold lead Suning enjoyed. IG finished 2-1 in the 2021 LPL Spring Split.
