Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi has made a return to Liiv SANDBOX

The 27-year-old was hired by the group to create material. The Swede, who has been participating in League of Legends since 2011 as a player or coach, will now take a hiatus from competitive participation. YamatoCannon left Fnatic on December 1 and hasn't provided any private information about his next intentions since then. But given that he has previously produced some content, switching to Liiv SANDBOX is a natural choice.

YamatoCannon once belonged to Liiv SANDBOX while it was still known as SANDBOX Gaming. From May 2020 through October of that same year, he served as the LCK team's coach. YamatoCannon returned to Europe after failing to qualify for the World Championship before coaching Fnatic in 2021 and 2022.
