Jojopyun youngest MVP winners in LCS history

The LCS has chosen their MVP for the 2023 Summer Split: we are firmly entrenched in the young movement in North America. Jojopyun, the mid laner for Evil Geniuses, won his first LCS MVP award today in only his second season.  He is the youngest recipient of the prize since Bjergsen, who did it in 2014 at the same age, and he is just 18 years old.

Jojopyun has been nothing short of a beacon of light in an otherwise disastrous season for EG—one that has been plagued with off-stage issues and on-stage flaws. Midway through the season, the team entirely overhauled its lineup, cutting ties with the core of players that had taken it to its first World Championship participation since re-entering the LCS. Jojopyun was the only player to make it through that reorganisation, and he quickly shown that he was a valuable asset to base a team's strategy around.
