One LCS player used the 2023 Spring Split to further his career, and in doing so, not only grew his fan base but also won the most prestigious prize available to a single player in the North American League of Legends environment. The 2023 Spring Split MVP award has been given to Cloud9's ADC Kim "Berserker" Min-cheol. This is the 19-year-old player's first MVP award in only his second season in the LCS.
This comes after C9 won the prize for "coaching staff of the split" a few days earlier, and it may be the start of additional honours for the defending LCS champions before they compete in the Spring Playoffs finals on April 9. Since making his LCS debut in the spring of last year, Berserker has been a cornerstone of C9's already illustrious squad.
