LCK Summer Split playoffs: Nongshim RedForce brings down Afreeca Freecs

Nongshim RedForce beats Afreeca Freecs with a 3-1 win in the first round of the 2021 LCK Summer Split playoffs. While Nongshim RedForce remained favored heading into the series but lost the first match of the series but later bounced back with three back-to-back wins to secure a win and make it to the next round of the playoffs.

The MVP votes went to mid-laner Gori and two votes went to AD carry deokdam for their works with Sett in the laning phase and deokdam looked powerful in the bottom lane with Aphelios and Kai’Sa. The bloody series saw 33 kills in the first 33 minutes and AFS forced a win with Kiin on Viego which earned him a ban in the next match. Thereafter it was a full NS show, next they would take on DWG KIA or Gen.G.
