LEC: Excel swaps Dan and Denyk with Markoon and Advienne

Excel Esports announced a big roster shake-up ahead of week four of the 2021 LEC Summer Split. The team has decided to promote rookie BT Excel’s jungler Markoon and support Advienne to the active lineup at the same time to make way for the players they have demoted Dan and Denyk. Young Buck, Excel’s head coach wants five of the best player on their 10 player roster to be on the main team. Excel is hoping both the player would boost their chances of winning on stage.

They held tryouts internally which helped them realize multiple BTXL players can challenge the players of the main LEC roster. Markoon and Advienne have played in the Spring European Masters and 2021 NLC Summer Split. The duo would bring in a fresh perspective as Excel fights to improve its form in the tournament.
