MAD Lions benches Reeker from their LEC squad

Mid laner Steven “Reeker” Chen is set to leave MAD Lions, and would not be part of the roster that would take part in the 2022 LEC Summer Split. The organization is considering Fnatic substitute Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer and Misfits player Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié for the vacant mid laner role. The roster changes would likely come into effect soon and the 20-year-old is quite in demand too with LVP Superliga teams KOI and Giants at the top of the list.

After joining MAD Lions in November 2021 and leaving BIG behind, the German mid laner made his debut for the side this year and helped the side with 8-10 record in the Spring Split the side could not book a playoffs berth with the two new members in the team this season, Reeker and bot laner William “UNF0RGIVEN” Nieminen. MAD Lions is now preparing for the 2022 LEC Summer Split which is scheduled in June.
