MSI Day 5 - Things made interesting by MAD Lions

League of Legends Mid-Seasonal Invitation 2021 - day five was over in relatively shorter order. The lower-sided players from Group B needed only a few matches so that it can be decided as to who will go further to the rumbling stage. At last, to the top of Group B came Mad Lions and PSG Talon to set up the rumble stage matchups with the PentanetGG and Royal Never Give Up.

The starting of day 5 for Mad Lions was quite unpredictable. The champions of LEC lost a very easy-to-win game to Istanbul Wildcats with the day opening, and all this just ended in Istanbul being eliminated from the tournament altogether, just after a few hours. When the early part of the game of the 2nd contest of the day of MAD Lions against PaiN Gaming started to slip off from them, it looked just like a collapse, but then MAD turned it back into their favor.
