Nuguri will return to DWG KIA before the 2022 LCK Summer Split begins

Nuguri, the 22-year-old League of Legend 2020 world champion is ready to make his comeback from his competitive break and join his team DWG KIA during the 2022 LCK Spring Split. He had announced a break from playback in November 2021 after separating from the LPL’s FunPlus Phoenix. He was originally a part of DWG KIA’s dominant 2020 roster, which secured the Summoner’s Cup at the League of Legends World Championship 2020, which happened in Shanghai, China. 

However, going forward in 2021, Nuguri couldn’t set high expectations with FPX. At Worlds 2021, the team wasn’t able to make it out of the group stage, putting them at the bottom in Group A. After the end of the 2021 season, this superstar top later decided to go on an extended break ahead of 2022. Also, he is likely to replace Burdol as the starting top laner for DWG KIA.
