Oceanic champions would be without Apii in Worlds 2021

PEACE top laner Apii would not be able to participate in Worlds 2021 because of the travel restrictions in place. The Oceanic Champions are forced to hit the market so close to the Worlds and look for a new top laner to replace Apii. In a statement, Apii shared after putting in a good amount of effort himself and the team the top laner cannot apply for an Icelandic visa in Sydney.

As per the rules in place, PEACE can now borrow from other LCO teams and hand over the reins from Apii. The option they can choose from is Pentanet.GG’s BioPanther and Chiefs’ Lived who can complete PEACE’s roster ahead of the Worlds Championship. PEACE also has one more option it can shift Tally to the top lane and then promote substitute mid laner Halo for time being. PEACE needs the roster ready by 5th October when the Worlds play-in stage kicks off.
