PEACE fans must already say goodbye

Due to a violation of its participation agreement, the organization has been expelled from the league, the LCO has declared today. For the remainder of the split, there will be seven teams left in the competition. Teams that were supposed to compete against PEACE in Split 1 Stage 2 will instead get a bye.

Due to two factors, Riot Games eliminated PEACE from the league. Since they were unable to get visas for its players during the first two weeks of the split, the organization was unable to field an eligible roster. As a consequence, the club forfeited all but two of their games, finishing the regular season with a record of 1-6.  The 2021 World Championship was where PEACE made their most memorable debut, joining LCO stalwarts like Tally, Babip, and well-known veteran top laner, Vizicsacsi.
